Comprehensive Health Screening of School-Going Girls
Med Matrix Services (SMC-PVT) Ltd, in collaboration with PRDS Peshawar, successfully conducted a comprehensive health screening campaign under the ILMpact Project, supported by the British Council. The initiative aimed to improve the health, well-being, and educational inclusion of school-going girls through the early identification of vision, hearing, and physical impairments.
A multidisciplinary and integrated screening approach was adopted to comprehensively assess the health and functional status of students. The screening was carried out by a team of qualified healthcare professionals, including an ophthalmic technician, an audiology professional, and a physiotherapist, under appropriate clinical supervision. This collaborative approach ensured accurate assessment, early detection of disabilities, and timely referral for specialized care.
