School-Based Sensory Screening is a systematic process to identify children with vision, hearing, and mobility difficulties at the school level, enabling early referral, assessment, and support. - Eye (Vision) Screening: Checks visual acuity using a Snellen/E-chart to identify refractive errors and other vision problems affecting a child's ability to see the board or read clearly. -Ear (Hearing) Screening: Uses whisper test, tuning fork, and otoscopic examination

- Eye (Vision) Screening: Checks visual acuity using a Snellen/E-chart to identify refractive errors and other vision problems affecting a child's ability to see the board or read clearly.
-Ear (Hearing) Screening: Uses whisper test, tuning fork, and otoscopic examination (followed by audiometer confirmation where needed) to detect hearing loss or ear infections that may hinder classroom learning.
-Mobility (Physical) Screening: Observes gait, posture, and functional movement to identify children with physical impairments who may need a wheelchair or other mobility aid.
Children flagged in any domain are referred for detailed specialist assessment and, where needed, provided with an appropriate assistive device (glasses, hearing aid, or wheelchair), along with fitting, orientation, and follow-up support.
