Training of teacher on School level health screening for disability

Med Matrix Services successfully completed a comprehensive teacher training programme on school-level health screening across five project districts: Sialkot, Narowal, Chiniot and Jhang in Punjab, and Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The training equipped teachers with practical skills to conduct basic screening for vision, hearing and functional difficulties, recognize potential health concerns, accurately document findings, and refer students requiring specialized assessment. Hands-on practice using the E-chart, hearing screening methods and functional assessment tools was a key component of the training, supporting early identification and timely referral of children in schools.
